Sarah has once again been selected to be an artist taking part in Art Perchance 2011 at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the summer fund-raiser thrown by the Friends of the Institute to raise money for some very worthy causes.

Plan to visit for your chance to take home one of Sarah’s photographs from the Art and Motherhood project.

group exhibition opening November 5, 2010

Sarah will be taking part in a group exhibition of 37 women artists whose work addresses the culturally ubiquitous role of motherhood, historically under-represented in visual art. The exhibition is titled “Mothers” and in Chicago at the Woman Made Gallery whose vision is to ensure the equal placement of women’s art in the world.

Sarah will be displaying a piece from her ongoing Art and Motherhood project.

The exhibition runs from November 5 – December 23, 2010 with an opening reception on Friday, November 5 from 6 – 9 pm. If you can’t make it to Chicago, you can view the exhibition online.
