As people seek to make sense of life and their place in the world, many turn to spirituality.  Ninety-two percent of the world believes there is a higher power, deity, or something greater than self. I think when individuals use spirituality as a paradigm to interpret life, their longings are often made known through the physical representations and tokens they choose during rituals. I am intrigued by the ways people choose tangible objects in their attempts to connect with something that is intangible.
